Like most of us, when Tommy was a kid back in High School, he often gravitated towards music as a way to express himself. Whether he was cranking up some rock and roll before football practice in order to get in the mood to bang helments, or playing in a country rock band that he formed back in school, Tommy jokes "Music has always been a part of my life, I love it. Even when I was a kid, like 9 years old, I can remember putting the radio under my pillow so Mom and Dad wouldn't hear me listening past my bedtime. The DJ on the air sounded like he was having a whole bunch of fun, and I always wondered what it would be like to be on the radio."

Years later, Tommy's wonderment started to become a reality while living in the frat house at the University of Louisiana. Overhearing one of his fraternity brothers talking about an opening at a local radio station, he applied for the job and was hired a week later. Tommy found himself spinning records overnight midnight to six.  It was radio back in 1988, when wax record players were soon to be replaced by the compact disc. In fact, the ease of radio software as we know it today was only an embryonic thought back then.

Fast forwarding Tommy's career into the present, while working his way up on various stations in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas, Tommy would have the opportunity to interview artist such as Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Gary Allen, Montgomery Gentry, Sarah Evans, and many others. These artist would even perform their songs live on his radio show.

It was from those live interviews that would spark the idea to create a show that would incorperate live performances from today's country stars on Country Radio. After a few years of collecting what he calls, "the largest live music catalog in Country Radio", Envision Radio Networks has launched the show Country Live USA nationally. Tommy say's "It's really an honor to be on the same roster with so many talented radio people, including David Letterman's Paul Shaffer (Host of Paul Shaffer's Day in Rock)."

Country Live USA has already interviewed artist such as Country Star Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, Jason Aldean, Tracy Lawrence, Keith Anderson, Alabama, Jo Dee Messina, Rodney Adkins, Neal McCoy, Tracy Byrd, Mark Chestnutt, Chris Cagel and many others.
